Fictional Game & Demo Notice

Fictional Game Disclosure: Kaelvorn and Low Chord Studio are fictional creations built as a static web-engineering and UI-design demonstration by Fullstack Rocks. This website does not sell a commercial product, collect payments, or register user accounts.

1. Summary & Plain-Language Promise

  • Zero Analytics or Profiling: We do not run Google Analytics, Plausible, Meta pixels, session recorders, or any telemetry scripts.
  • Zero Forms or Accounts: There is no newsletter signup, beta registration, login, or comment form anywhere on this website.
  • Zero External Runtime Requests: All fonts, stylesheets, scripts, icons, and concept art images are self-hosted and served from the same origin (https://fullstack-rocks.github.io/skills/kaelvorn/). Your browser never connects to Google Fonts, external CDNs, or third-party video embeds when viewing this site.

2. Data Controller & Demonstration Context (GDPR Art. 13(1)(a))

While in-universe marketing copy refers to the invented developer Low Chord Studio, the actual controller and operator responsible for this static demonstration website is:

  • Operator: Fullstack Rocks
  • Electronic Contact Channel: Via the official GitHub organisation page at https://github.com/Fullstack-Rocks (and the repository issue tracker at https://github.com/Fullstack-Rocks/skills/issues).

3. Hosting & Server Log Files (GitHub Pages)

This website is statically hosted by GitHub Pages, a service provided by GitHub, Inc. (88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) and, for visitors in the European Economic Area, GitHub B.V. (Vijzelstraat 68-72, 1017 HL Amsterdam, Netherlands).

When your browser requests a page or image from this site over HTTPS, GitHub’s web servers automatically receive and log standard HTTP request metadata—specifically your IP address, the date and time of the request, the requested URL path, the HTTP status code, bytes transferred, and your browser’s User-Agent and Referer headers.

  • Purpose: GitHub logs visitor IP addresses strictly for network security, abuse prevention, and DDoS mitigation, regardless of whether you are signed into a GitHub account.
  • Legal Basis: Article 6(1)(f) of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)—legitimate interest in maintaining the security, availability, and integrity of the hosting infrastructure.
  • Access & Retention: Fullstack Rocks does not have access to raw visitor IP logs collected by GitHub Pages and does not store, export, or combine server logs of its own. For details on how GitHub handles and retains security logs, please consult the GitHub General Privacy Statement and the GitHub Pages Data Collection Documentation.

4. Self-Hosted Assets & Zero Third-Party Leaks

Every asset required to render Kaelvorn’s interface—including our custom typography, SVG ornaments, AVIF/WebP illustrations, and interactive skill-tree scripts—is bundled locally within the static deployment. Visiting this site never transmits your IP address or browsing activity to third-party font providers, ad networks, or social media platforms.

5. Local Browser Storage (localStorage)

We use your browser’s local storage (window.localStorage) solely to remember two strictly necessary, user-initiated interface preferences on your own device:

1. Whether you have dismissed the informational storage notice banner (kaelvorn:notice-dismissed).

2. Whether you have enabled the Reduce motion accessibility control (kaelvorn:reduced-motion).

These values remain inside your browser, contain no personal identifiers, and are never transmitted to any server. To the extent local storage falls within data protection law, it is processed to deliver an interface feature explicitly requested by you (Art. 6(1)(b) / Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and ePrivacy Directive Art. 5(3) Criterion B exemption). See our Cookie & Local Storage Policy for a complete key table.

6. International Data Transfers

Fullstack Rocks does not transfer personal data to third countries. However, because GitHub Pages utilizes global content-delivery infrastructure operated by GitHub, Inc. in the United States, technical server connection logs may be processed in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, as documented in the GitHub General Privacy Statement.

7. Your Rights under EU GDPR & UK GDPR

Under Articles 15 to 21 of the GDPR and UK GDPR, you have the right to request access to, rectification of, or erasure of personal data, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)). Because Fullstack Rocks holds zero personal data and cannot identify visitors from static pages, any requests regarding host-level security logs must be directed to GitHub under their privacy statement. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a national data protection supervisory authority in the EU (Art. 77 GDPR) or the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (https://ico.org.uk/). No automated decision-making or profiling (Art. 22 GDPR) occurs on this site.

8. California Privacy Disclosures (CCPA / CPRA)

For residents of California (Cal. Civ. Code §§ 1798.100, 1798.130):

  • This non-commercial demonstration website does not meet the statutory "business" thresholds of Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.140(d).
  • We do not collect personal information beyond transient IP addresses handled by our static host (GitHub Pages) for security.
  • We do not "sell" or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, nor do we collect or process "sensitive personal information." Accordingly, a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link is not applicable.

9. Effective Date & Updates

This Privacy Policy is effective as of 25 October 2026. Any updates reflecting changes to the static showcase will be published directly on this privacy page.
